Leonidio is a traditional settlement with many beautiful stone built houses. Among them some very impressive mansions like the Archontiko Tsouchlou and the Archontiko Tsikalioti. You may visit the “Fabrica”, an old industrial building transformed to a Cultural Centre. All under the imposing red rock.
The way from Leonidio to Kosmas is going through the impressive Dafnon gorge. On your way you may visit the Monastery of Elona, built in the rock the 16th century a.C with an exquisite view of the area.
Kosmas is one of the most beautiful villages in Peloponnese. Built at 1.150m of altitude surrounded by a forest of chestnut, fir, walnut trees. You may enjoy lunch or coffee at the village square, shaded by seven enormous plane trees along with the church of St’s Anargyroi and the water fountain with the lion heads.
