The attracting poles are the beautiful mount Parnon, also called “botanical garden”, for its aromatic and pharmaceutical plants, one may easily gather, the wild fauna, mostly foxes and ferrets, one may meet within the settlements, the different birds, thrashes, robins, sparrows, blackbirds, partridges and turtledoves along with the migratory birds met by the lagoon of Moustos.

On the other hand, it is the wonderful sea and the easy access to many beaches for every taste. The mild climate of the area permits all outdoors activities, sea or mountain, all year long.

The seaside settlement, Paralia Tirou, assembles the financial activity of the Community and covers the daily needs of the inhabitants, whose occupations are farming, fishery, building activities, retail trade and tourism services. That’s where one may find mini markets, food stores, coffee shops, restaurants, bars etc.
